as usual, hong kong was fantastic - its a beautiful urban city, springing with opportunities and dynamism. the aloofness of this cosmopolitan city is somewhat very seductive, yet at the same time mired in some sense of deterioration, which cant really be ascertained. anyways, enough of emo talk - peektures!krispy kremes! it tastes even better when its located so near popo's home (yay!) and yes i am THAT greedy, ate 3 donuts plus a mocha at a go. hoho oh yes, their mocha drink is uber nice coz it comes with a happy vanilla float and kopi gao gao - i likeeee.
ze orgasmic desert that trumps everything.
at only hkd28 bucks you can buy a bowl of long-lasting happiness, how cool is that?!
now you see it, now you don't. its SO GOOD.
btw the mascot of this desert shop is super cute too, looks alot like the badzbadtzmaru (is that the correct spelling?) character which reminds me of siyou - coz she's the black-loving morose kiddo with that menacing bite like him haha
bad papa bad, totally engrossed with his car mag when we were waiting for our desert.
cars to papa is like shoes/bags to siyu.
my cool papa with his nice brook brothers shirt! /i give many stamps of approval
(please ignore my fat face)
ooo us in his new convertible hohoho.
its pretty luxurious compared to the prev one with falling roof haha
me attempting a Balenciaga AW07 look with hair all tucked in - someone said i looked very old with pseudo short hair :(
beautiful cascading crystal display for x'mas decorations
i cant rave enough about how willing these hk peepos are to spend on visuals in shopping malls. seriously, singapore's retail pales sorely in contrast. i was even more surprised to find out that all the connecting walkways between the many shopping malls in hk are all private initiatives between the property owners of the malls. wow.
the view from our new house!!
wierdass restaurant name at the new shopping mall, The Element. (its such a cool mall they should have just named it THA BOMB). anyways, when i saw the restaurant i immediately burst out laughing and stopped in my tracks to take a picture coz' i know sijing would definitely react the same way but ohwells, guess i was wrong.
restaurant at Exchange Square - one of my favourite in hk in terms of ambience, food (salivates profusely), entertainment, decor and price too! haha
Zen at pacific place was BAD (thats why no pictures haha). serious misalignment between their positioning as mid-high class and the service rendered (very unprofessional). THUMBS DOWN.
my ring almost flew away from sticking my fingers outta the car to take this photo :S goodbye hk! see you again 6 months later (hopefully)
